- All Blocking is Local: The lists of blocked websites, keyword blockers, and whitelists are stored entirely on your own device.
- No Web Tracking: We do not track, monitor, or view the websites you visit or your online browsing habits.
- No Habit Logs: Your recovery progress, streaks, and check-in history stay stored safely on your phone and are never sent to us.
2 AI Recovery Buddy (Buddy Chat)
The App includes an optional, supportive AI chat helper to assist you on your recovery journey. To protect your chats:
- No Saved Conversations: Your messages are sent securely to our AI partner (Fireworks AI) to generate replies, but they are not stored or saved on any servers.
- No Training on Your Data: Your messages are never used to train or improve AI models.
- Local History Only: Your chat history is stored strictly on your own device, and you can delete it at any time.
3 In-App Purchases & Subscriptions
We offer premium features through Apple’s subscription system:
- Managed by Apple: All payments and accounts are handled securely by Apple. We do not have access to your credit card, billing address, or Apple ID.
- Subscription Check: The app only performs a secure check with Apple to verify that you have an active subscription to unlock paid features. No personal details are shared during this check.
4 Third-Party Services
- No Ad Trackers: We do not include any third-party ads, analytics tools, or marketing trackers in the App.
- Limited Connections: The App only connects to the internet to download the adult website blocklist and to send your messages back and forth with your AI chat companion.
5 Children's Privacy
Porn Blocker: PurePath is intended for users 4 years and older. We do not knowingly collect or request personal details from children.
6 Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will post the update inside the App or on our App Store listing. Continuing to use the app means you accept the updated terms.
