1) Who we are
Official Adventist Hymnal (“the App”, “we”, “us”) is a mobile app that provides access to lyrics from the Seventh‑day Adventist Hymnal (1985) and streams available hymn audio.
2) Summary
We do not create user accounts and do not collect personal information.
Lyrics are stored with the app and available offline.
Favorites, playlists, and settings are stored only on your device.
When audio is streamed, standard internet logs (e.g., IP address) may be processed by our streaming provider solely to deliver content.
We do not sell data, do not track you across apps or websites, and do not use advertising identifiers.
3) Information we process
We do not collect personal data.
The App does not ask for your name, email, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or precise device identifiers.

Review prompt counters (to avoid excessive prompts)
Network requests (for audio)
To play audio, the App requests streams from a third‑party music infrastructure provider. Their servers may receive standard network information (e.g., IP address, device/OS/version, timestamps) required to route content and ensure service reliability. We do not receive or store those server logs.
System frameworks
App Store review prompt (Apple’s SKStoreReviewController) is handled by Apple; we do not receive your rating or any personal data from Apple.
4) How we use information
Provide hymn lyrics and optional audio playback
Maintain your on‑device favorites, playlists, and settings
Ensure basic app functionality and quality
5) Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share personal data. Audio streaming requests go directly to the streaming provider to deliver content; we do not receive personal data from those providers.
6) Data retention
On‑device: Favorites/playlists/settings remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the App.
We do not store personal data on our servers.
7) Your choices
You can clear favorites/playlists in the App and uninstall the App to remove local data.
If your device uses system analytics or crash reporting, that is governed by Apple settings (Settings > Privacy & Security).
8) Children’s privacy
The App is suitable for a general audience and does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the age required by local law).
9) Security
We rely on the operating system’s security features and HTTPS for network requests. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we strive to use reasonable safeguards.
10) International use
If you stream audio, your request may be routed to servers in other countries solely to deliver the content. We do not control where third‑party infrastructure is hosted.
11) Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update this page and the “Effective date.”
